My paws danced across the broken concrete of the suburbs. Man, it was wonderful to be wandering the city again. I had not run into my brother yet, but I figured I would eventually, right? We had grown up on a farm, together and loving it, but we got separated because he went looking for shelter and left me here. Flip that.

Flicking my banner, I sniffed about, wondering what was around her, was there still dog toys? I missed my tennis balls, I missed herding the sheep. Humans were a waste of space, though I did miss my human badly, he was so good. Stupid humans made everyone disappear. Licking my maw, I spotted a house with an open door, awesome

Moving toward it, I flicked my banner and sniffed, not finding any hard smells. Canines obviously passed through, but they were not here now. Trotting up the steps, I moved the door a bit with my nose, then walked inside, pausing at the door stop. The house was huge, the ceilings vaulted, the chandeliers still hanging, amazing. I was used to our little farm house, middle of no where ville. Ha, if only brother could see this!
